Game Rules
Go Bark™ is best suited for 3-6 players but 2 can still have a lot of fun. The deck is made up of 48 Muzzle (or face) cards - 4 each of twelve different dog breeds, and 6 Bark Cards™.

The object is to collect a Dog Pack™, which are sets of four cards with the same dog breed, by asking other players for the card(s) you think they may have. For example you want to collect all four Black Labrador Retriever cards to make a Dog Pack™. Players with a Bark Card™ may redirect card questions to another player, "go bark at Billy." Whoever collects the most Dog Packs wins.

Game Play proceeds as follows:
  1. Shuffle cards and deal five cards to each player
  2. Place the remaining cards face down in a spot between players
  3. Player may look only at their own cards
  4. Play begins to the dealers left and continues clockwise
  5. When it is a player's turn he or she may ask for one card type from any other player in the group. For example, "John, Give me your all your Golden Retrievers?"
  6. When a player is asked for a specific card, he/she must
  1. Hand all cards of that type over if he/she has a card(s) of the type being requested or
  2. If the player does not have the card he/she responds "Go Bark!"
  3. If the player has a Bark Card in hand they may use it as follows in rule 7
  1. The player may set down a Bark Card if he/she has one and bark per the Bark Card's instructions and redirect the card inquiry to another player, Example: John would say "yap-yap-yap go bark at Billy" If the Bark Card is used then Billy would have to
  1. Give up any Golden Retrievers in his hand,
  2. Say "Go Bark" if he did not have any Golden Retrievers or
  3. Use a Bark Card of his own (he could send the question right back to John)
  1. The requesting player must draw a card from the stack if he/she is told to "Go Bark!"
  2. If a Bark Card is used then it is discarded from further play
  3. When a player has acquired four cards to make a Dog Pack, he/she then places the Dog Pack cards face up in front of him/her.
  4. Play continues until all cards are set down as Dog Packs, no one is able to play or time is called. Note: A player can ask for a card he/she does not hold. A player can also ask for a card even if his hand is empty. A player cannot ask for a Bark Card
  5. At the end of the game the player with the most Dog Packs wins.

Variations

  1. Add difficulty by making Players request a dog by it's name (bold text on card)
  2. Play as above without Bark cards for traditional "Go Fish".
  3. Add decks together for games with more players
  4. Match two cards for a dog pack (rather than four)
